WOLSEY — Robert (Bob) Brodkorb, 82, of Wolsey, passed away on Saturday, December 7, 2019, at Avantara Huron.
His Memorial Service will be on Thursday at 2 p.m., at First Congregational Church in Huron, with military honors by the Hershman-Gordon American Legion Post 59.
Burial will be at a later date at Black Hills National Cemetery in Sturgis.
Bob Brodkorb was born on January 25, 1937, to Robert W. and Florence (Westlake) Brodkorb.
Bob married Ruth Thompson on February 14, 1960.
Grateful for having shared in his life is his wife, Ruth of Wolsey; daughter, Debora (LaDean) Kleinsasser; son-in-law, Moe Waldner, and daughter-in-law, Diana Brodkorb; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; a brother, Harold Brodkorb; sisters, Betty Albright, and Daisy (Scott) Lindblad.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents; his son Rex; daughter, Johnna Rae; one brother in infancy, Richard; brother-in-law, Roger Albright; and sister-in-law, Evie Brodkorb.
