CAVOUR — Beverly Jean Kerney, 70, of Cavour, passed away Wednesday, August 7, 2019, at the Avera Weskota Memorial Hospital, Wessington Springs.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Kuhler Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Riverside Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 to 7 p.m. Monday, with her family present from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday evening.
Beverly Jean Lundberg was born to Lester and Arlette (Bloodgood) Lundberg on Oct. 24, 1948, in Huron. She graduated from Huron High School and attended one year at Huron College. She then furthered her education at Mitchell Vo-Tech, where she graduated with a business degree.
On May 22, 1976, Beverly married Dennis Kerney in Mitchell.
She is survived by her husband, Dennis Kerney of Cavour; daughter, Kristen Murray (Dennis Steyle, Jr.) of Huron; two grandsons; sister, Shirley Hawks of Sioux Falls; and a nephew and a niece.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother-in-law, Howard Hawks.
