SIOUX FALLS — Celestine “Sally” Puthoff, 96, of Sioux Falls, formerly of Humboldt, passed away on June 10, 2018, at Good Samaritan Village in Sioux Falls.
A funeral mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. today, with a rosary to begin at 10:15 a.m., at St. Ann’s Church in Humboldt, with Father Bob Krantz and Deacon Roger Puthoff officiating. Burial will follow at St. Ann’s cemetery.
Sally was born September 26, 1921, to Richard and Mary (Zeier) Roth near Dimock.
She was married to Lawrence Puthoff on November 8, 1943, until his death in March of 1978.
She is survived by her children; Georgiana Donahue (Bob) of Marshalltown, Iowa, Larry Puthoff of Sioux Falls, Mary (Roger) Mueller of Mankato, Minn., Lyle (Shirley) of Salem, Jim (Donna) of Sioux Falls, Eileen Muellenberg (Mark) of Rapid City, Anita (Jim) Morris of Sioux Falls, Karen (Ray) Anderson of Sioux Falls, Roger (Karla) of Huron, Chuck (Linda) of Sioux Falls, Cheryl (Dan) Barenklau of Humboldt; 27 grandchildren; 50 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceeded in death by her husband; son, Dennis; grandson, Scotty; great-granddaughter, Geri Marie; daughters-in-law, Geri Puthoff and Mary Lou Puthoff; son-in-law, Steve Ingalls; and four brothers, George, Leonard, Victor and Wilford
