WAYNESVILLE, Ohio — Cynthia L. Beckman-Rimpo, 69, of Waynesville, Ohio, passed away Monday November 5, 2018.
Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m., Tuesday November 13, at the First United Methodist Church in Wessington Springs. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 Monday at the church and continue Tuesday one hour prior to the service.
Cynthia was born August 30, 1949, in Wessington Springs to Eldon and Joyce Beckman. She graduated from Wessington Springs High School in 1967, and from South Dakota State University in 1971. A former nurse, she worked 18 years in combined workplaces of a hospital, private practice, and education. She was a member of the Waynesville United Methodist Church.
She was a friend to everyone. She enjoyed reading and traveling. Her favorite trips were to Egypt and Israel, but the Netherlands became like a second home to her.
She is survived by her husband, Bill; children, Nicolas, and Megan Rimpo; parents; and sisters Lisa (Phillip) Edwards, and Sandra Wenzel.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Mark Beckman.
