HURON — Dean Schiele, 56, of Huron, passed away Friday, October 5, 2018, at his home.
His funeral service will be 1 p.m., Monday, October 8, at the Kuhler Funeral Home. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery with military honors. Visitation with family present will be from noon until 1 p.m. Monday at the Kuhler Funeral Home. The family requests NASCAR attire be worn in his memory.
Dean Brian Schiele was born November 23, 1962, in West St. Paul, Minn. to Allen and Darlene (Ziebarth) Schiele. He graduated from Huron High School in 1981. He served in the U.S. Army from 1981 to 1983, when he was honorably discharged. He worked for Prostrollo Motors and Scott Olson Construction.
He is survived by his wife, Jodi Bahnson of Sioux Falls; sons, Jimmy (Becky) Bahnson of Hamm Lake, Minn., Cody Schiele of Huron, and Tyler Schiele of Sioux Falls; four grandchildren; parents, Allen and Darlene Schiele of Huron; siblings, Kevin Schiele of Huron, Roxy (Todd) Peskey of Minot, N.D., and Tana (Brad) Berens of Sioux Falls; and his many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews and their families.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Clarence and Toodie Ziebarth, and Louis and Veronica Schiele; and father-in-law, Monte Bahnson.
