CEDAR FALLS, Iowa — Dorothy Jean Brown, 93, of Cedar Falls,  Iowa, passed away Friday, August 9, 2019, at Western Home Communities - Windhaven Assisted Living.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, at First Presbyterian Church, Cedar Falls. A gathering of friends and family will be  held from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, at Richardson Funeral Service in Cedar Falls.   
She was born to Carl and Gladys (Rowen) Fritzsche on July 30, 1926, in Bonilla.
On Feb. 28, 1945, she married Edward Brown in Huron. He preceded her in death Nov. 1981. On June 21, 1988, she married Harold Brown in Wessington.
She is survived by her daughter, Nola (Jerry) Roitsch of Bristol; step-children, Steve Brown of Cedar Falls and Denise Brown of Cedar Falls; brother, Don Fritzsche of Huron; eight grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her two husbands; a daughter, Connie Bates; a son-in-law, George Bates; a son, Lynn Brown; a step-daughter Cindy Flores; and two sisters, Alice Walker and Linda Harper.
