SAN ANTONIO, Texas — Duane Engelhart, 79, passed away July 9, 2021, at Colonial Gardens in San Antonio, Texas.
A graveside service will be held Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at Fort Sam National Cemetery, Pavillion #31.
Duane was born in Webster to Hugo and Mary (Gearin Weiss) Engelhart. He joined the Air Force in 1959, serving in Korea, England and Viet Nam. After retiring from the military, he worked for Boeing and Coca-Cola in Del Rio, Texas.
He is survived by his three children, all of Texas; sisters, Lois Bult and Donna (Jim) Anderson of Huron, and Jan (David) Miner of Portland, Ore.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister and brothers and his wife, Marilyn.
