REDFIELD — Elsie Caroline Brooker, 92, of Redfield, formerly of Tulare, passed away Monday, June 10, 2019, at the Eastern Star Home in Redfield.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m., Monday, June 17, at Tulare United Church. Burial will follow in Graceland Cemetery at Tulare. Visitation will be 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. Sunday at the Eastern Star Chapel. A prayer service will follow at 3:30 p.m. Family will be present starting at 2:30 p.m.
Elsie Caroline was born February 22, 1927, in rural Tulare to Leo and Myrtle (Marzahn) Kopplin. She graduated from Tulare High School in 1945. She was united in marriage to Leroy Brooker in 1953. Her love of music and the church were huge parts of her life. She and Leroy moved into Tulare in 1996.
She is survived by her children, Carol Campbell, of Grand Junction, Colo., Paula (Daryl) Ames of Tulare, Peggy Brooker of Tulare, Dave (Becky) Brooker of Tulare; four grandsons; three great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy; siblings, Marjorie (Richmond) Noble, and Leland; two sisters in law; and two nephews.
