SPEARFISH — Elta “Betty” E. Johnson, 91, of Spearfish and formerly of Huron, passed away Saturday, July 24, 2021.
Her Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Holy Trinity Catholic Parish with burial at St. Martin’s Cemetery to follow. Visitation, with her family present, will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday at Welter Funeral Home, with a Scripture and Rosary Service at 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
Elta Elizabeth Clarambeau was born Dec. 20, 1929, in Huron to Felix and Alice (Martell) Clarambeau. She married Daniel C. Johnson July 2, 1951.
She is survived by her children, Peggy (John) Cyphert, David (Joan) Johnson, Deb (Carl) Rittenbach, Kenneth (Barb) Johnson, Kathy (Bob) Reiswig, and Penny Johnson (Joe) Lanners; her sister, Mary Kay Tschetter; and brother, Harold Clarambeau.
She was preceded in death by her husband; son, Richard Johnson; granddaughter-in-law, Darci Johnson; and siblings.
