ORIENT — Ethel Marie Klapperich Palmer Hagen, 91, of Orient, passed away Sunday, June 20, 2021.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the previous Orient Lutheran Church Lot in Orient. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Luce Funeral Home in Faulkton.
Ethel Marie Klapperich was born August 31, 1929, in Raymond to Emil and Mary (Halfman) Klapperich.
She married Paul Palmer married in 1951. Later in 1965, she married Oscar Hagen.
She is survived by her children, Randy (Jeannette) Palmer, Julie Baszler, Cheryl Walsh, Richard (Mary) Palmer, John Hagen and Mary (Lannie) Mielke, Mellette; seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren; siblings, Robert (Arlene) Klapperich, Phyllis Merrill, Rosie Forester and Mike Klapperich.
She was preceded in death by both husbands; sisters, Delores (Claude) Hamilton, Marjorie (Vince) Moon, and Joanne (Daryl) McGirr; brothers, Donnie (Donna) Klapperich and Phillip Klapperich.
