MYSTIC, Conn. — Gerald “Gerry” T. Mees, 56, of Mystic, Conn., passed away Tuesday, May 23, 2017, at Lawrence and Memorial Hospital in New London, Conn. after a brief illness.
Services will be held at the Mystic Funeral Home in Mystic, Conn.
Gerald was born in New London, Conn. to the late Duane and Marlene (Mastromano) Mees. He was a resident of Mystic for thirty years.
He is survived by his brother, David Mees; two nephews, Michael and Corey Mees; a grandnephew, Jonah; two grandnieces, Molly and Olivia; his uncle, Neil (Jeanette) Mees of Huron; many cousins in the Huron area; and his several housemates and the caring staff from the Community Living Home in Mystic on Jerry Browne Road where he was a resident.
