PRIEST LAKE, Idaho — Gleva ‘Gigi’ Almond Horning, 76, of Priest Lake, Idaho, passed away November 11, 2020, in Spokane, Washington of post surgery complications.
Gleva was born April 30, 1944, in Huron, to Earl and Glee Almond. Shortly after graduation she married Bruce Greschke.
In 1980, Gleva married James Horning in California.
Gleva is survived by her husband, Jim; son, Bryce (Cindy) Greschke; granddaughter, Lauryn Greschke; step granddaughter, Brittney Gossmeyer; step son, Jimmy Horning; step daughter, Lisa Horning Martin; former daughter-in-law, Kim (Gregg) Dromgoole; siblings, Del (Kay) Almond, Glenda (Randy) Hecht, Carol Lake (Bruce), Norm (Debbie) Almond, Rocky (Lonnie) Almond, Teresa (Dave) Schelle; sisters-in-law, Linda Almond, June Almond, and Ginger Horning;
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Jolee; parents; brothers, Doug, Smokey, Burt and Bob Almond; sisters-in-law; and a brother-in-law.
Gleva’s ashes will be buried in Huron at a later date this summer.
