PRINCETON, Mo. — Herbert Lee Harrington, 79, of Princeton, Mo., passed away Sunday, March 18, 2018, at a Liberty, Mo. hospital.
Funeral Service will be 1 p.m., Monday, March 26, at Zion Baptist Church in Cainsville, Mo. Burial with military rites will follow in Princeton Cemetery at Princeton, Mo. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the church.
Herbert Lee was born July 12, 1938, in Spickard, Mo. to Herbert Richard and Opal Devade (Gumm) Harrington. He was a 1956 graduate of Princeton High School, and went on to serve in the United States Air Force. He worked as a mechanic for the Dakota, Minnesota, and Eastern Railroad. He was united in marriage to Yvonne Rose Lucklum September 22, 1999.
He was a member of Zion Baptist Church of Cainsville and American Legion Post #257 of Cainsville. He thoroughly enjoyed fishing, camping, working on tractors, and riding motorcycles.
He is survived by his wife, Opal; daughters, Chris (Doug) Krouse of Andover, Ill., Pam (Kevin) McCoy of Boone, Iowa; five grandchildren, Jeremiah and Vincent Crouse, Jesse, Zach, and Seth McCoy; and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and several aunts and uncles.
