WESSINGTON SPRINGS — Ila Mae Warnke, 92, of Wessington Springs, passed away Monday evening June 22, 2020, at the Weskota Manor Nursing Home.
Her funeral service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m., at Prospect Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be this evening from 5 to 7 p.m., at the Basham Funeral Home.
IIa was born on September 7, 1927, to Lewis and Zida Thompson in Wessington Springs.
On November 24, 1946, she married Jack J. Warnke in Wessington Springs.
She is survived by her three daughters, Deanna (Erik) Edberg of Hartford, Linda (Tom) Grohs of Wessington Springs, and Jackie (John) Edberg of Hartford; nine grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Alma Mohling and Abbie Younie both of Wessington Springs; and many close relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jack; sister, Betty Burchfield/ Castle from Oregon; two brothers, Lauren Thompson and Tom Thompson both of Wessington Springs.
