To the Editor:

Once again, I was impressed, thankful, and in awe of all those involved to make the 2023 Spirit of Dakota event such a special opportunity.  

I cannot begin to imagine all the thousands of details involved, and I do not think there is a detail that is overlooked.

The Spirit of Dakota award is a wonderful way to recognize and honor the contributions of South Dakota Women. I am appreciative of all that is done, by dozens of individuals who make this happen.

Your time, efforts, and energy have created special memories for many women, their family, and their friends. Thank you!
