To the Editor:
I recently finished reading “Killing the Witches: The Horror of Salem, Massachusetts,” by Bill O’Reilly. I found it to be very well written and researched, as I have all the books in his “Killing” series.
The real exorcism on which the 1973 movie “The Exorcist” was based, was a story I had never read before.
As I was reading the account, I could only think ‘Wow,’ and thank God for the godly priests involved.
I am reminded of what President Ronald Reagan once said: “If we ever forget that we are one nation under God, we will be a nation gone under.”
I am very thankful for our excellent public library and its staff. God bless America.
