REDFIELD — Louise Lila Mae (LaBrie) Hansen, 95, of Redfield, passed away quietly Saturday, Nov. 28, 2020, at Eastern Star Home in Redfield.
A private family service will be held Saturday at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Aberdeen, with Pastor Lorah Houser Jankord officiating. The service will be uploaded to the funeral home’s website.
Louise LaBrie was born Feb. 8, 1925, to Joseph and Engrid 'Mary' (Hansen) LaBrie in Turton.
She married Peter Elmer Hansen Dec. 21, 1946.
She loved to knit, crochet, sew, and paint ceramics and china.
She is survived by her children, Larry and Linda Hansen of Warner, Linda J. Hansen of Warner, Harley Hansen of Turton, Rod and Carrie Hansen of Turton, Brian Hansen and Jill DeWitte of Redfield, Keith and Stephanie Hansen of Redfield; and son-in-law, David Taylor of Redfield; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Doris LaBrie; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband; a daughter, Judy; a granddaughter; and siblings, Lois (Mattie) Dix and Richard “Bud” LaBrie.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Hyke Funeral Home of Redfield.
