HURON — Richard Dutcher, 69, of Huron, passed away Monday, February 22, 2021. His memorial service will be held at a later date and will be announced later by Kuhler Funeral Home.
Richard Dutcher was born May 14, 1951, to Ernest and Barbara Dutcher, at Mason City, Iowa.
He married his wife, Deanna in 1973. He worked for the railroads at Mason City and Huron, until his retirement.
He loved trains and playing train simulator. His passions were woodworking and building things. He spent hisspare time with family and friends, and was supported spiritually by his church family at Calvary Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Deanna; four sons, Dion, Bradley, Michael and Charles (Chelsie) Dutcher; 10 grandchildren; four siblings, David (Sandy), Lori (Paul), Todd and Jennifer (Brent); and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
