Huron, South Dakota — Richard Lawrence Hunter Sr., 64, passed away September 23, 2021.
He loved traveling, hunting and fishing. He was a long time mechanic, working on several vehicles throughout the community. He had an old fashioned sense of humor and a knack for chess. Richard served proudly in the National Guard for 20 years.
He is survived by his son, Rick Jr. of Huron; daughter, Donna of Crescent, Okla.; along with three grandchildren he beamed over, Ivy, Damian and Talia.
A memorial service will be held in the spring (TBD) at the Black Hills National Cemetery where he will rest with the love of his life, Genevieve.
