WATERTOWN — Robert “Bob” James Mahowald, 67, passed away, surrounded by his family, on Saturday, July 24, 2021, in his home in Watertown. He was a caring and loving husband, father, brother, and friend to many.
Funeral mass will be 2 p.m., Saturday with visitation starting at 1 p.m., at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church in Watertown. Burial will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Watertown.
Bob is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Debra “Deb” Taylor Mahowald; his son, Brian Mahowald of River Falls, Wis.; his brothers, Chuck Mahowald and Denis (Peg) Mahowald of Huron, Martin (Betsy) Mahowald of St. Cloud, Minn., John (Maryanne) Mahowald of Sartell, Minn., and Joseph (Elizabeth) Mahowald of Bayside, N.Y.; his sister, Ann (Gene) Blondheim of Huron; and his nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph C. and Patricia A. (Lynch) Mahowald.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the CentraCare Heart and Vascular Center Integrated Health Program in St. Cloud, Minn., Prairie Lakes Cancer Center in Watertown; or Glacial Lakes Humane Society in Watertown.
