HARROLD — Wesley J. Meyer, 30, of Harrold, passed away Thursday, May 24, 2018, at his home.
Funeral service will be 1 p.m., Wednesday, May 30, at the Harrold Auditorium in Harrold. Private family burial will be in Medicine Hill Cemetery at Harrold. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m., Tuesday with a 7 p.m. prayer service, all at Luze Funeral Home in Highmore.
Wesley Jay Meyer was born May 29, 1987, in Sidney, Ohio, to Roger and Alisa Meyer. He was raised on the family farm near Russia, Ohio, graduating from Russia High School. He attended and graduated from WyoTech in Laramie, Wyo., specializing in Diesel Technology.
He was united in marriage to Chelsea Beckler in June of 2014.
He was passionate about agriculture, worked as a sales agronomist and helped start up on agronomy business. He enjoyed helping people whether it be agronomy or diesel engines.
He is survived by his wife, Chelsea; daughter, Brynlee; parents, Roger Meyer (Theresa Grillot) of Russia, Ohio, and Alisa Meyer (David Jenkinson) of Skull Valley, Utah; siblings, Dustin (Grace) Meyer of Houston, Ohio, Levi Meyer (Erica Wright) of Palmer, Alaska, and Ila (Bryck) Rhodes of Woodbridge, Va.; four nephews; parents-in-law, Don and Tracey Beckler; and siblings-in-law, Taylor (Kyle) Bridge, Brianna and Ryan Beckler all of Harrold.
Luze Funeral Home of Highmore has been entrusted with Wesley’s arrangements.
