The Huron Tiger volleyball team’s former bus driver, Jeff Dahr, has again donated a chain saw carving of a bear. This is the 10th bear he has donated to the volleyball team, since he began after overhearing the coaching staff on a bus trip discussing concerns about keeping the program and camp costs to a minimal for athletes. This is the first year since 2009 that he hasn’t driven our team but still wanted to make a difference.
The volleyball team is selling raffle tickets and the winner will be drawn on Saturday night at the team’s “Senior night” match against Pierre.
