HURON — Yvonne Lea “Honey, Vonnie” Isaacson, 62, of Huron, passed away Tuesday, June 6, 2017, surrounded by her family and loved ones at the Sanford (USD) Medical Center in Sioux Falls.
Her funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Friday June 9, at the First United Methodist Church in Huron with burial in St. Martin Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday with a prayer service to begin at 7 p.m. at the Welter Funeral Home or one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday.
Yvonne was born on June 17,1954, in Lakehurst, N.J. to James and Sue (Wilson) Webster. She graduated from Huron High School in 1972.
She was united in marriage to Kevin Isaacson in 1974. They settled in Huron where she became a well known daycare provider. The couple purchased The Snack Barn in 1997, a concession stand that they owned and operated during the South Dakota State Fair.
She is survived by her husband, Kevin; children, Jeremy (Steve) Isaacson of Westland, Mich., and Jared (Jenni Borkowski) Isaacson of Huron, Jodi Isaacson of Huron, and Jenna (Yanko Maldonado) Isaacson of North Liberty, Iowa; siblings, Michael H. (Gayle) Webster of Lillian, Ala., James (Denise) Webster of Rapid City, Debra (Martin) Rogers of Rochester Kent, U.K., and Mary (John) Hershman of Huron, stepbrother, Brad Borah of Yale; and stepsister, Donya (Roger) Langenberg of Hoskins, Neb.; several other steprelatives; and four grandchildren.
