Her nephews, Curtis (Joan) Friedrichsen Watertown, Stewart (Shirley) Friedrichsen of Huron, and Brian Friedrichsen of Wolsey often visited to celebrated various holidays and especially when Phyllis’ children were in town. And finally, her nephew, Doug (Brenda) Friedrichsen and their three children who regularly visited, helped take care of her house, gave rides to family gatherings, and most importantly, brought a favorite meal from a local restaurant on many of their visits.

She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; her sister, Iris Thoreson; and her brother, LeRoy Friedrichsen.
